This is a 20-minute tutorial with everything you need to start distributing 30+ pieces of content/week:
Introduction
Welcome to this Blotato onboarding video! Here, I’ll show you everything you need to know to start distributing 20+ pieces of content per week.
Blotato is a content creation and distribution app designed to streamline the process of creating high-quality, consistent content. Here’s why I built it:
My Goal: Teach 1 million people AI for free.
Growth: I grew from 0 to 500,000 followers in 6 months without a team or a budget.
Challenge: Staying consistent while managing tools across platforms was overwhelming.
Solution
In early August, I was using five different tools for content creation, repurposing, and distribution. Managing workflow automations was time-consuming.
Blotato solves this by:
Integrating multiple apps into one platform.
Automating processes like extracting data, using AI to write drafts, and scheduling content.
Allowing you to remix a youtube video, for example, into multiple pieces of multimodal content.
The target audience for Blotato:
Creators & solopreneurs struggling to create high-quality content consistently.
It’s overwhelming to manage multiple channels.
You might be balancing a business or full-time job.
If this sounds like you, welcome aboard!

Main Concept:
Add ideas or sources in the left column.
Use AI to write first drafts for multiple social media platforms.
Sources
Text: Paste text (e.g., from a community discussion).
Websites, Blogs, Articles: Use URLs to generate draft posts.
YouTube or TikTok Videos: Input public videos (yours or others’).
Audio Files: Upload podcasts, meetings, or voice notes.
PDFs: Use research papers or eBooks.
AI Integrations
Perplexity: Search for viral trending news or perform web-based research.
After you add sources on the left-side, the next step is to use AI to generate first drafts.
Using Templates
Select a source (e.g., YouTube video).
Choose a template (e.g., “Multiple Social Media Posts”).
This uses AI to generate drafts tailored to each platform.
Personalizing Prompts
Access the Prompts Library in the sidebar.
Modify prompts to fit your writing style.
Here are guides to make the output sound more like you and manage multiple brand voices.
Advanced Edits
You can highlight a few sentences and rewrite them with ChatGPT.
I suggest experimenting with prompts like “5 Lessons Learned” or “3 Listicles.”
In the help docs, I add guides and tips every week.
Here are Growth Best Practices I've learned for each platform.
Growth Best Practices
For example:
LinkedIn:
Post once daily if under 10,000 followers.
Spend 30 minutes engaging with peers and customers.
TikTok and Instagram:
Focus on short videos (30 seconds).
Prioritize hooks for maximum impact.
Video Hooks
Use pre-loaded templates with over 200+ proven hooks.
Here's the step-by-step guide to use Blotato for Tiktok and Instagram Reels.
Scroll to the bottom of a post and select Generate AI Image.
You can use ChatGPT within Blotato to modify the image prompt, for example, by modifying the demographics, background setting, or text in the image.
Save and publish with your post.
Combining Sources
You can remix data from multiple sources:
Videos, blogs, podcasts, AND research papers.
Use Custom Instructions to pre-process each data source, BEFORE they are combined together to generate the post.
Here's the step-by-step guide.
Post Cloning
Duplicate posts across platforms with a single click.
Schedule posts for specific times using the calendar.
Multilingual Support
Translate posts into different languages.
Go to Settings > Language > and select your defaut language.
You can even remix sources in one language and create posts in another language.
Access Help in the sidebar for guides and tips.
Use the orange button to message me directly with:
Issues, bugs, or feature requests.
Feedback on improving the app.
I host weekly Office Hours every Wednesday 10am MST, exclusive for blotato users.
