# Brainstorm Tiktok Hooks

I use Blotato to brainstorm hooks because that's the most important part.

If your hook fails to stop people from scrolling, they won't watch your video.

If you're new to video, I recommend focusing on your hooks, the first 10 seconds of your video. Don't spend a lot of time scripting or editing your video.

## What are hooks?

What do I mean by "hook"?

* first 4 sentences you say
* video title
* visual hook

Check out this [video](https://www.tiktok.com/@sabrina_ramonov/video/7425790516278725931) as an example. The video title is "This guy is a genius..." and the visual hook is a Reddit screenshot used as [green screen](https://thedroidguy.com/steps-using-green-screen-effect-tiktok-beginners-guide-tutorial-1266079).

For education videos, simply stating the value the viewer will get from watching your video works well. For example: "7 free courses to learn AI" makes it clear what the viewer gets from investing time watching your video.
