Connect Facebook Pages through the intended Facebook login, verify Page permissions and account identity, and diagnose missing Pages without revoking working integrations.
Important Limitation
Blotato can only publish to Facebook Pages, not personal Facebook profiles. When you connect Facebook, you authorize Blotato using your personal Facebook login, but publishing is limited to Pages you have admin access to.
You must keep the personal Facebook login connected while using any Pages authorized through it. Meta uses the personal profile to grant Blotato access to those Pages. Disconnecting the Facebook login removes every Page connected through it. The personal login does not count toward your plan's connected-account limit. Each connected Facebook Page counts as one account.
You cannot use Blotato to post to your personal Facebook profile timeline.
For consistent management, keep the Pages authorized through 1 Facebook login together in the intended Blotato account. Check which Blotato account is signed in before authorizing. A generic publishing error does not prove a second workspace invalidated the token. See Facebook account and workspace diagnosis.
Connecting Facebook Pages
Open Accounts.
Select Connect account, then Facebook.
Sign in to the Facebook profile with access to the intended Pages.
Select the Pages you intend to use in the Meta permission flow.
Approve the permissions for the features you need.
Return to Blotato and confirm the login and intended Pages appear in Accounts.
If Meta offers a current-Pages selection, select the intended Pages individually instead of granting every current and future Page. The provider's consent labels differ by version.
Each Page you connect counts as one account toward your plan's account limit. The Facebook login itself does not count.
If Meta names a missing privacy setting, follow Meta privacy-setting diagnosis. Do not reset or remove a working connection because an old menu label is absent.
Comments and Messaging
Comments and direct messages work on your connected Facebook Pages, and both are available on all plans. When you connect or reconnect a Page, approve the requested permissions so Blotato reads and posts comments and reads and sends messages for the Page. A Page is missing or the wrong Page appears
Confirm the Facebook login and Blotato account you authorized.
Confirm the login has publishing access to the intended Page in Facebook.
Check whether the Page appears under the Facebook connection in Accounts.
If the Page or its permissions were omitted, open the account actions menu and select Reconnect for the same Facebook identity.
Open Meta's permission-editing or Page-selection step when offered, then select the intended Page.
Finish authorization and confirm the Page appears in Blotato.
For API or MCP work, retrieve the current account and Page IDs. The Facebook account ID and Page ID are different values.
If the Page remains absent, send support the Facebook identity, Page name or ID, error, and timestamp. An absent Page does not establish a cache fault, a Meta outage, or a need to remove the integration.
Reconnect versus removal
Reconnect renews authorization for the identity you select. Removing Blotato from Meta revokes permissions. It is not a cache-clearing step and risks interrupting publishing, comments, messaging, and automations for the affected Pages.
Blotato's Disconnect operation also removes Page links, archives account automations, and converts the account's future scheduled posts to drafts. Review the account-removal effects and obtain approval before removing a connection. Do not use removal as the default next step after an unsuccessful reconnect.
