# Custom Assets

Add images or audio to an existing video editor project, distinguish uploads from generated voiceover, and re-export changes.

## Can You Upload Custom Images or Designs to Add to Videos?

Yes, you can upload custom images to add to your videos.

Within the Blotato video editor:

* click "Image" on the left
* click "Upload"
* click "Choose File" to upload your image

Optionally, if you want to animate your custom image with AI:

* click on the image
* click "Create Animated Image" on the left
* select an image-to-video model
* click "Generate"

***

## How Do You Upload Custom Music, Audio, or Sounds?

1. Open your video in the Blotato video editor
2. Click "Audio" in the left sidebar
3. Upload your audio file

For AI-generated voiceover, select the template named "AI Video with AI Voice" rather than relying on its position in the list. See [AI Voiceover & Captions](/web-app-features/videos/ai-voiceover-captions.md).

After adding or changing audio, [export a new version](/web-app-features/videos/edit-and-export.md#export-the-requested-format). To mute a sound track or a clip's audio, use its Volume settings. Uploading silent audio does not mute other tracks.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.blotato.com/web-app-features/videos/custom-assets.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
