# Schedule Posts

Schedule a website draft at an exact time or in a recurring slot, select destinations, and verify the scheduled result.

## Schedule a Post

To schedule a post to your calendar:

The DRAFT / Not scheduled yet status means the draft has not been submitted. Account selection alone does not schedule it.

1. Open [Content Studio > Post editor](https://my.blotato.com/agent).
2. Click the draft card you want to schedule.
3. Open the Schedule panel.
4. Select the destination accounts.
5. Complete the destination selectors in Options: a Facebook Page, LinkedIn profile or company Page, or Pinterest board.
6. Select Pick a time under Publish time.
7. Choose the date and time in your computer's local timezone.
8. Click the Schedule button showing the number of pending accounts.
9. Verify each destination in [Posts > Scheduled](https://my.blotato.com/posts?status=scheduled).

For recurring slots, [configure a matching weekly slot](/web-app-features/content-calendar/create-schedule.md), then select Next free slot time instead of Pick a time. Exact-time scheduling does not require slots. If no matching slot time is available, scheduling fails instead of publishing immediately.

To publish without scheduling, select Now, then Publish now. Only submit after the user approves the content and destinations.

The submission controls require a pending destination. Already scheduled or published destinations are not resent by the same draft's scheduling action. Read the per-destination status before retrying. See [disabled scheduling controls](/support/faqs.md#the-schedule-button-is-grey-and-does-not-work).

Scroll within the Schedule panel to reach each platform's Options section. Selecting a LinkedIn company Page is not required when posting to the personal profile.

For an external assistant using MCP or REST, use [Schedule and manage posts](/agent-workflows/agent-workflows/schedule.md). Website panel labels are not API parameters.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.blotato.com/web-app-features/content-calendar/schedule-posts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
