# Manage multiple brand voices

You can create multiple brand voices in [Settings > My Brand](https://my.blotato.com/settings/brand) -- one for each brand, client, or audience you create content for. Each brand voice has its own Brand Kit: business details, ideal customers, posting topics, and brand visuals. Blotato uses the selected brand voice to write content and generate on-brand visuals.

## Switch or create a brand voice

1. Go to [Settings > My Brand](https://my.blotato.com/settings/brand)
2. Open the **Brand** dropdown at the top of the page
3. Select an existing brand, or choose + New brand
4. Fill in or edit the Brand Kit fields below (brand name, website, business, audience, posting topics)
5. Optionally upload brand visuals and brand documents
6. Click Create brand for a new brand, or Save Changes after editing an existing brand. The control appears when the form has unsaved changes.

The fields below the dropdown apply to the brand selected in the dropdown. For the full list of Brand Kit fields, see [Brand Kit](/settings/brand-kit.md).

## Set your primary brand

Your primary brand is used by default in content generation.

1. Open the **Brand** dropdown and select the brand you want as your default
2. Mark it **Primary** (the star)

To remove a brand you no longer need, select it in the dropdown and click the delete (trash) icon next to it.

## Select a brand when creating a post

1. Open the [AI Agent](https://my.blotato.com/agent)
2. In the left sidebar, find the **Brand** selector
3. Select the brand you want for this post
4. Write your prompt and generate

Blotato applies the selected brand's Brand Kit to this draft. You do not need to change your primary brand to select another brand for a post.

Select the publishing account separately in Schedule. A brand selection does not assign a social destination. For an external assistant, supply brand instructions in its prompt and follow the [Brand Kit API options](/settings/brand-kit.md#using-blotato-api-n8n--makecom). Do not assume the assistant has a tool for creating or editing saved website Brand Kits.

For videos, carousels, and slideshows, use templates rather than the in-app AI Agent. Brand selection differs between website templates and the REST API. Visual generation through MCP is not supported at this time. Follow [Brand Kit](/settings/brand-kit.md#controlling-ai-generated-visuals).

Note: the AI Agent at [my.blotato.com/agent](https://my.blotato.com/agent) is the current editor and applies your Brand Kit. Older tutorial videos show the **remix** screen, reachable from **View old remix screen** in the left sidebar. The remix screen does not apply your Brand Kit, so use the AI Agent for on-brand content.

## Tips

* Name each brand clearly (by brand, client, or audience) so you can pick the right one quickly.
* Keep each brand's "What do you post about?" and "Describe your ideal customers" fields specific. The AI Agent reads these before generating.
* Review and update your brands as your strategy or audience changes.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.blotato.com/tips-and-tricks/manage-multiple-brand-voices.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
