# Growth best practices

Warm up each new social account manually before connecting publishing tools. Use at least 1–2 weeks for most platforms, 4 weeks for TikTok, and 2 weeks for Pinterest. Follow the [Brand New Accounts Warm-Up Guide](/social-accounts-and-platform-faqs/tiktok/brand-new-accounts.md).

Focus on the platforms where your audience spends time. Use the posting ranges below as starting points, then adjust them using your account analytics.

| Platform | Suggested Daily Posts | Growth Checklist |
| --------- | ----------------------------------------------: | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| LinkedIn | 2 | Comment on posts from industry peers and prospective customers. Publish in the morning. Repost in the early evening. |
| X | 5 below 10,000 followers, up to 15 above 10,000 | Spend more time engaging with relevant accounts than publishing. Curate your feed around your market. |
| TikTok | 5 videos | Wait 1–2 hours between posts. Use Creator Search Insights to find content gaps. Add search terms to titles, descriptions, and captions. |
| Instagram | 1 image and up to 4 Reels | Start with Reels. Apply the same topic and search-term strategy used for TikTok. |
| Facebook | Up to 4 Reels | Use a Facebook Page for automated publishing. Personal profiles require manual posting. |
| Pinterest | Up to 30 Pins | Create focused boards with search-friendly names. Save relevant third-party Pins before adding your own content. |
| YouTube | 1 long-form video and up to 4 Shorts | Publish interviews or video podcasts for long-form content. Repurpose vertical videos when they meet YouTube's current Shorts rules. |

Use [Repurpose TikToks on Autopilot](/integrations-and-automation-templates/templates/8-repurpose-tiktoks-on-autopilot.md) to distribute TikTok videos to other supported platforms.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.blotato.com/tips-and-tricks/growth-best-practices.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
