Supported LinkedIn Account Types
Here are the LinkedIn account types supported by Blotato:
LinkedIn personal accounts
LinkedIn company pages
How to Connect Your LinkedIn Accounts
Go to Settings
Make sure you're logged into the LinkedIn account you want to connect
Click "Connect account > LinkedIn"
After you authorize, a Select LinkedIn pages window opens. Check the company pages you want to connect, then click Save.
You choose which company pages to connect. Only the pages you select are added to your connected accounts list and the publish dropdown. Your personal LinkedIn profile connects on its own.
Your LinkedIn profile and each company Page you select each count as one connected account toward your plan's account limit. If your selection goes over your plan limit, deselect a few pages or upgrade your plan, then click Save.
If the window says "No LinkedIn pages found for this account", the LinkedIn account you signed in with has no eligible company Pages. This is informational, not an error -- the window appears only after your sign-in succeeded, and your personal LinkedIn profile is already connected. Close the window and keep posting.
If a company Page is missing, open the Page on LinkedIn and go to Admin tools > Manage admins. Your profile must have the Super Admin or Content Admin role. Analyst, Curator, Paid Media Admin, Recruiting Poster, and collaborator access do not expose the Page to Blotato. Ask a Super Admin to update your role, then reconnect from an incognito Chrome window and select the Page. If your role stays unchanged, ask a Super Admin or Content Admin to connect the Page to Blotato.
How to Refresh LinkedIn Connection
If you see a message that your LinkedIn connection is about to expire, this is normal. Social platforms periodically require you to refresh connections to third-party tools like Blotato for security reasons. Posts scheduled to your personal profile keep working after you refresh.
Reconnecting clears your connected company Pages, so you re-select them as the last step. Posts scheduled to a company Page keep working once you re-select that Page and click Save.
To refresh your LinkedIn connection in Blotato:
Go to Accounts
Find your LinkedIn account in the list
Select Reconnect from that account’s actions menu
Approve the permissions when prompted, using the same LinkedIn account
In the Select LinkedIn pages window, re-check the company pages you want to keep connected, then click Save
If step 5 shows "No LinkedIn pages found for this account", the refresh worked. That message means you administer no LinkedIn company Pages. Your personal profile is reconnected and scheduled posts keep working.
🛑 IMPORTANT 🛑
Do NOT click "Connect account > LinkedIn" to refresh an existing account, and do NOT disconnect the account. "Connect account > LinkedIn" is for adding a new account, and disconnecting causes all posts SCHEDULED for that account to fail.
