# Website modes and navigation

Choose Developer Platform or Content Studio and find Accounts, Calendar, Posts, Logs, Analytics, creation tools, and Settings in the redesigned Blotato website.

Blotato has 2 navigation modes in the same account. Choose Developer Platform for monitoring API, MCP, and automation activity. Choose Content Studio for writing posts with the in-app AI Agent and creating visuals.

Switching mode changes the navigation, not your subscription, connected accounts, or content. An external AI assistant connected through MCP is separate from the AI Agent inside Content Studio.

The support chat answers questions and handles troubleshooting. It does not create content. Use Content Studio > Post editor for drafts, or Videos > Create New Video for visuals.

## Switch Modes

1. Open [Blotato](https://my.blotato.com).
2. Open the navigation menu if the sidebar is hidden.
3. Select Switch to Content Studio or Switch to Developer Platform beneath the Blotato name.
4. Select the screen for your task.

The mode switch does not open another account or require another login. If your current screen stays open after switching, select a destination from the updated navigation.

## Developer Platform

Use Developer Platform to monitor work submitted by your external assistant, API integration, n8n workflow, or Make scenario.

![Developer Platform navigation with Overview, Calendar, Analytics, Posts, Logs, Videos, Inbox, DM automations, and Accounts](https://2374509648-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FevfU9S4Nh53PiGflQLah%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-22f24351f5ab3e9ed0e44954d1560eb84a0f7db5%2Fui-developer-navigation-2026-09.jpg?alt=media)

1. Open [Accounts](https://my.blotato.com/accounts) to connect destinations or check their connection status.
2. Open [Settings > API](https://my.blotato.com/settings/api) for API credentials and client-specific setup instructions.
3. Open [Overview](https://my.blotato.com/overview) for the current week's posts, upcoming posts, DM automations, and platform performance.
4. Open [Logs](https://my.blotato.com/logs) to investigate activity and errors.
5. Open [Posts](https://my.blotato.com/posts) to verify scheduled, published, or failed outcomes.

See [Connect an AI client](/start-with-an-ai-agent/mcp/setup.md) or [REST API quickstart](/start-with-an-ai-agent/start.md) for setup. Selecting Developer Platform does not connect an external assistant for you.

### Inspect a Log Entry

1. Open Logs.
2. Select the activity type and result filters.
3. Search or select a platform and account when needed.
4. Open the matching row.
5. Read the recorded outcome, destination, endpoint, and time.
6. Use Copy request ID when providing evidence to support.

Raw request and response contains technical details. Do not share credentials or signed upload URLs from a payload. A successful scheduling request is not proof the post has published. Follow [publication outcome checks](/start-with-an-ai-agent/publishing-status.md) before retrying.

## Content Studio

Use Content Studio for the in-app AI Agent, post drafts, video templates, and content tools.

1. Select Post editor to open the in-app [AI Agent](https://my.blotato.com/agent).
2. Select a brand and add source material under Context when needed.
3. Describe your post in the Write posts about... box.
4. Review the draft before publishing or scheduling.

If a post draft is missing from Post editor, check the [older Remix screen](https://my.blotato.com/remix). See [Find your drafts](/support/faqs.md#how-do-you-find-what-youve-created).

For videos and carousels, open Videos, then Create New Video. See [Create posts](/web-app-getting-started/posts.md), [Context](/web-app-getting-started/sources.md), and [Video templates](/web-app-features/videos.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.blotato.com/navigation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
